Founding Engineer

About the role

Hawala is building the financial infrastructure connecting MENA with the world. As a founding engineer you'll own products end-to-end — from idea to production — across web, mobile, and backend.

What you'll do

• Ship user-facing features across the stack with React, TypeScript, and Next.js
• Design and build APIs and data models that scale
• Work directly with founders to shape product and architecture

What we're looking for

• 4+ years building production software
• Strong product sense and bias for action
• Comfort with ambiguity and ownership
